Empowering Choice Through a
Micro-Economy Model

Earn

Participants earn 150 EGP in coupons through educational activities

Activate

They combine those earned coupons with a personal contribution of 50 EGP.

Choose

Participants can purchase menstrual health products and educational resources that meet their needs.

Track

The model encourages meaningful engagement rather than stated preferences

In 2026, the Dignity Program introduced an Earn → Activate → Choose → Track model that promotes participant ownership and informed decision-making.

Participants earn 150 EGP in coupons through educational activities and contribute 50 EGP of their own funds, creating 200 EGP in purchasing power for the Dignity Stores, where they can select and purchase menstrual health products and educational resources to meet their needs.

Innovation in Action:

Using Technology to Better Serve Women and Girls

Innovation is helping For Her Dignity do more than deliver programs. We’re learning, adapting, and improving in real time.

We meet women where they are, many using affordable smartphones. We provide content through accessible technology such as WhatsApp so participants can stay connected, share information and videos, and continue learning beyond our programs.

Through AI and data analysis, we turn participant survey results into insights. And through those insights, we continuously refine our programming to better meet the needs of the women we serve, including preparing materials for low literacy levels.

Because innovation isn’t about technology for technology’s sake.
It’s about using better tools to create better outcomes.
